Pole Dancing as an Olympic Sport
We have a great respect for every Pole Dancer, especially for professional ones because they are great, hardworking athletes. Imagine pulling up your whole body on the pole with just one arm.
It does not come as a surprise that after having several world championships the World Pole Sport Federation is trying to introduce Pole Dancing to the Olympic World. In fact more than 25 nations already compete at the Pole Dancing World Championships which is remarkable for such a young sport.
Being quite a hard work out Pole Dancing offers quite many benefits. It tones your muscles in all body parts and you are able to burn around 250 calories in one session which is more than you would achieve in your average gym sessions.
Especially it strengthens your stamina, arms and legs. However there are also benefits beyond the physical because you get more confident about your body.
If you now decided to give it a try it might be a good idea to book a space at our taster sessions or courses we hold all through the country.
It is also a great and quite popular idea to book a Pole Dancing lesson for your hen or birthday party.
