Hula Hoop Fever

Hula hoop dancers from around the world united in Bend, to learn from master performers for the 2011 Northwest Hoop gathering.

The three-day event is an all-levels hoop dance training intensive, loaded with some of the most well known hoopers. To honour that, professional hoopers from across the country are giving presentations to improve and inspire the communities hooping practice.

"I think people are looking for ways to feel good, fight depression, help weight loss and find some feel good fitness," Northwest Hooping founder Mollie Hogan said.

Here in Polestars, we absolutely agree with Mollie and that is why we are organising a Hula Hoop taster.                                          

It will take place in St Vincent's on the 11th of May. Come and join us if you are passionate about fitness and wellbeing.
