I had been thinking of joining the gym for a while, a friend told me about polestars and thought that sounds good. I went along to a taster and loved it. Its 100% better then the gym, the teachers were fab and very supportive and encouraged you along, whereas the gym I have to motivate myself which I find difficult.
I have learnt a whole load of moves I never thought I could do, but the encouragement you get is amazing. If I had to sum up the course I would say its fun, addictive and exciting!

I found the burlesque taster class very good and I enjoyed it a great deal. I thought Ellouise was fantastic. I would love to do the course but the logistics of me getting to Newcastle for 7 o’ clock are impossible on a normal day( we took half a days holiday to come).
If however a class was running in Darlington at any time , please count me in.

Just wanted to say a BIG thank you for the Burlesque lesson on Saturday. Rose was fantastic and we had so much fun..
It really made our evening that extra bit special.

Last week I finished my beginners polestar course, Emma was my teacher. I just wanted to let you know how awesome I found the lessons- I was so inspired by Emma's ability and enthusiasm that she soon had all of us (pretty nervous) begginners throwing ourselves around the pole with confidence. In fact, I had such a great time that I have purchased a pole and and currently in the process of trying to install it in my bedroom!
I honestly think that without Emma being such a great teacher (and yet still great fun) I wouldn't have taken to poledancing so much that I now offically consider it a hobby.
I will definately be undertaking the intermediate course in a few months (once I have perfected all the begginner moves on my xpole) and when I do I will be specifically asking for Emma to teach me!

I am very pleased that Polestars has introduced a burlesque course in Exeter. I have completed the first two lessons now and have enjoyed them. Our teacher Claire is fabulous, she is a great dancer, very enthusiastic and gets her enthusiasm and love of burlesque over to us, she imparts her knowledge really well and is very patient with all of us.
I wanted to do burlesque as I love the music and the clothes-----I also love Las Vegas, I go there quite frequently and have had a yearning to dress like a showgirl!!!  This is the closest I will get to that of course but its great fun. I also wanted to possibly pick up a few additional techniques for the bedroom------never too old to learn!!
