Hello lovely Polestars. Hope you're all fitting fit as illness has been plaguing the office this month so far. Another month and another intermediate burlesqeu troupe performance - check out their video. We also have some loads of new dates for the new year. This months hot topics are:

 

Check out the video below of our third Intermediate Burlesque Course girl's final performance at Madame JoJo’s Finger in the Pie night. Named The Flirty Flappers, these girls performed on stage in front of an audience in full burlesque attire armed with some fabulous 'kinky dust'. Beginners not long ago, who would have thought they’d be stage stars already! We have to hand it to them for getting up there - it can be quite scary but they did a brilliant job and gave an amazing performance. Well done ladies! Not forgetting a big thank you and well done to Emma for leading another intermediate group.

Our can-can course has been reworked, revamped and re-choreographed. Feedback from the previous course enlightened us to the fact that dancing to the same song every week was a little too much. In response, we have re-structured the course so that it covers a wider variety of can-can dancing. Week 2 for example is a slower more seductive can-can, week 3 is Moulin Rouge and week 4 is the ultimate challenge - super high energy can-can we all love and know. If you were on one of the first couple of can-can courses we ran in London and weren’t entirely satisfied, we would like to offer you a free place on the new course to make it up to you - just call our office on 020 7274 4865 or email us.

 

 

We would like to give a big thank you to all the sports teams who entered the photo competition last month; we had an overwhelming response and after much deliberation would like to announce the winner; Lucia Ranford and her netball team from Leeds! Congratulations girls you have won a free girly get-together in either pole dancing, can-can or burlesque.

 

 

Well done to teachers Melissa and Lisa for participating in the national pole dancing competition, ‘Miss Pole Dance UK 2008’. Packed out with spectators (it was a sold out show) and facing fierce competition they both still managed to wow the judges with their dazzling pole moves.

 

 

Everyones feeling the pinch right now, what with all this 'credit crunch' business. well, its great news for those of you in Sheffield! We are launching our Sheffield burlesque course so we are offering free places on our 4 week burlesque course starting tomorrow, Tuesday 21st October @ The Cutler. Thats right, FREE places for tomorrow's Sheffield burlesque course. Because we are feeling generous, we also have a 20% on the Bournemouth pole dancing beginners course starting on Monday 27th October @ Centre Stage.
