POLESTARS, the world’s largest pole dancing school for fun and fitness, is taking their ever-popular hen parties one step further. Now, as well as pole dancing parties, you can experience all the fun and glamour of burlesque in a private party with up to 20 friends!

But first, what is burlesque? It is an art form is best described as a combination of striptease, comedy and exuding sexual confidence, not just in the burlesque performance, but in everyday life. Burlesque is not about stereotypical beauty, but relies on the performer’s attitude and her projection of herself and her charms to the audience.

POLESTARS Burlesque has recently been launched in classes around the UK and has enjoyed great success. The parties will have similar elements to the classes, but with a more relaxed atmosphere. Participants will learn lap dance and strip tease (no nudity involved!) and get to experiment with fans, crops and nipple tassles.
