Sabrina
Sabrina teaches Dirty Dancing, Grease and Chicago in London
Age: 22
Different day job: Dancer, hostess
How long have you been dancing: I've been dancing for 18 years in Jazz, modern, street, tap, ballet, contemporary and musical theatre. And I'll keep on till the end!
Why do you love teaching at Polestars: There's a fun exciting atmosphere at Polestars. When you do the courses you see the same people every week so you can start to building relationships and confidence in front of each other.
Why did you start teaching: I'm not one of those people that enjoy working in an office. I have a personality where I love to interact and talk to people and getting to do that while teaching them to dance or host their birthday or hen party is ideal for me.
Fave Song: Don't stop me now
Fave Food: Cheese and ham toasties
Fave Film: The Lion King
Most memorable teaching moment: Working on a community theatre project with Btec students age 16-18. We created an all singing, all dancing show in 4 days to perform to friends and family. They all worked so hard and the show was amazing.
Most embarrassing teaching incident: I was teaching a jazz class and the room got really hot, the windows were steaming up! I was sweating so much that mascara started running down my face and I couldn't see as the windows were covered in steam. It wasn't until one of the male members of the class told me that I knew...so much for a scary teacher, I looked like one!
