Day Job: Running local Dance and Drama school. Also fronting a burlesque troop.
How long have you been dancing :  I started lessons when I was 7 so –30 years !
Why did you start teaching:  I was a Musical Theatre performer for 13 years and appeared in West end shows such as Cats and Grease. I have always loved to dance and sing. My mum is an actress so I was brought up sitting in the wings of theatres, what can I say performing is well and truly in my blood.  I made a decision to move to my beloved Cornwall around 7 years ago and set up my own dance and drama school, finding I missed performing my burlesque act soon followed and with it burlesque classes. I get a real kick out of teaching and love to share my love of dance with people. I especially get a buzz out of the sense of empowerment and confidence woman get from a burlesque class or course, It’s priceless.
Why do you love teaching at Polestars:  Well I’m very new to the gang but I look forward to learning some new skills, meeting new people with similar passions and getting to share my love of dance.
Best Dancing Experience: mmm difficult one : I would say my opening night of Cats in the West End – I wanted to be in it since I was a little girl so it was an amazing experience.
Best teaching moment: When I ran a burlesque course and two of the girls turned out to be boys !!! Wearing very little!!! Very funny!
Fave Food: At the moment crispy duck pancakes, but it changes!
Fave Film: I love musicals, it’s hard to choose a favorite one, again it changes “Some like it Hot” and Chicago are up there.
