Eloise aka Jaynie
Eloise aka Jaynie is 33 and teaches Pole Dancing and Cheerleading in Southampton.
Different day job: Teacher - I teach dance and business studies.
How long have you been dancing: Since I was three I’ve danced.
I achieved a Gold medal for my tap and modern jazz dancing,
silver for my individual pompom routine and bronze for baton twirling.
I love the freedom I feel when I dance.
What do you love most about dancing: The confidence it give people
to express themselves and the feeling of achievement when you pull off a great move
Why did you start teaching dance: to share my passion for movement and help women to realise that you don’t have to be skinny to be sexy. Fave Song to dance to: Nickelback – If today was your last day
Best dancing experience: When the pompom troop I was dancing
in won the world championships in the late nineties,
I was dressed as a playing card and the routine was called Magic.
Best teaching moment: Watching the “penny drop” when a group of my student finally understood the concepts I was teaching them and create an amazing piece of dance
