Name: Claire Northcott aka Cherry Ve’Dore

What do you teach: I teach GleeDirty DancingSalsaGrease Parties, Can - Can along with Burlesque courses, tasters and parties.

How long have you been dancing: I have been dancing for 10 years and have learnt all different styles.

What made you decide to become a Polestars teacher: I wanted to teach because I wanted to share my enthusiasm and skills with others. I love to teach and help others in anything I can…whether its dancing or fashion. I heard Polestars was a great and fun company to work with and decided to pursue a dream I had.

What’s you’re favourite thing about working as a Polestars teacher: I enjoy it so much as it is fun, friendly and its great to see people’s confidence grow. There is nothing better than learning a move or a dance routine and practicing with your friends in the middle of the dance floor.

What’s your favourite tune to pole dance to: Dirty by Christina Aguilera or Toxic by Britney Spears

What’s your favourite tune to dance burlesque to:‘Nasty Naughty Boy’ by Christina Aguilera or ‘I wanna be loved by you’ by Marilyn Munroe.

Do you have a different day job: I am a Senior Customer Satisfaction Advisor for a Complaints team in the Energy Industry, Burlesque Performer and I am a model for car shows; I love all of my jobs even though they are so different

What’s your favourite food: Spag Bol and any ice cream made by my two favourite men...Ben and Jerry

What’s your favourite film: Dirty Dancing for the girly factor, Moulin Rouge for the dance factor and Little Nicky for the funny factor. I love these all and have probably worn out the DVD’s as I have watched them so many times.

Celebrity Crush: ‘The Rock’ Dwayne Johnson

Most embarrassing incident whilst dancing: Well I tried to do a burlesque move called Tabby cat while in a performance and stepped on my own foot and fell over onto my face. It was very graceful and made all the audience laugh at me.
