How long have you been dancing: Dancing about 17 years officially, but since I could walk really!
What do you love most about dancing: The freedom and expression to be yourself and rock out!
Why did you started teaching dance: As a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor, I took my qualifications and my passion and put the 2 together. I also teaching and seeing transformations in people, not just physically, but mentally too! I also like passing on a skill.
Why you love teaching at Polestars: Polestars are awesome, not only are they great to work for, but their style of teaching. It's everything I stand for and I love representing the company!
Fave song to pole dance to: Pour Some Sugar On Me (Def Leppard), or Lips of an Angel (Hinder)
Fave song to burlesque dance to: Can't choose just one I'm afraid but will go with 'Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend' (Moulin rouge version).
Best teaching moment: At the end of each course, when I get to watch the girls and see what they have achieved and learnt over the 6 week course. I get to have my proud motherly teacher moment!
Most embarrassing teaching moment: More uncomfortable than embarrassing, but I accidently stepped on my own big toe (where I don’t actually have a nail) and split the skin. I then had to teach a pole hen party, with no joke, my foot covered in blood and my shoe actually filling with blood. It was quite messy and didn’t want to stop. I think some of the girls were on the verge of passing out! If I hadn’t had to teach I would have actually passed out too!
Most embarrassing pole moment: Most recently pole dancing at Katy's Poleoke night in Brighton, and my boob falling out. I wouldn’t have minded or been too fazed normally, but it was not necessarily the time or place for it!
Most embarrassing burlesque moment: Probably when I was doing a routine with a crop, and I got a little over excited, resulting in the crop flew out of my hand and into a man on the front row> I tried to make it so it was part of the routine to cover up, but it nearly took the poor man's eye out!
Fave food: Bosco Salad from Pizza Express, Salmon en Croute, Goats Cheese (on its own or with anything!)
Fave films: Lord of the Rings trilogy, Forgetting sarah Marshall, Anchorman (or anything with Will Ferrell), The Sweetest Thing and The Holiday.
Celebrity crush: Darius Campbell and Nicholas Cage! Cant choose between
Hobbies other than dancing: Recently Parkour – love it!, ferrets, getting my nails done and riding my motorbike.
Personal motto: Never regret anything you have done, just put it down to experience. Life’s too short!
Where we can find you: Usually I will be teaching here, there and everywhere, doing my day job, and burning some rubber from my motorbike around Sussex - all leather clad of course!

Why did you start teaching dance: I was a student and after seeing me passing what I knew onto other students I was asked to teach.

Best dancing experience: I did a backwards strip at the Edinburgh Festival once - started naked and put my clothes on to music!
Best teaching moment: When one of my students became a teacher herself after all my tuition.
Most embarrassing burlesque moment: One of my nipple tassels flying across the room in a demo!
