Chocolate Making Party

[Back]

From the moment you step inside our lovely kitchens and don your practical, yet fetching, My Chocolate apron, you’re on a chocolate adventure.

Learn about where the cocoa bean grows, how chocolate’s made and why some tastes so great (and why other products just aren’t worth the calories). We’ll take you from bean to bar, with lots of opportunities to taste along the way.

When it comes to chocolate, we reckon that rules are made to be broken – which is why we’re not afraid to team chilli, tea and other exotic ingredients with some of Green and Black’s finest. Try our combinations – you’ll be amazed.

Working with your friends you’ll get to play with molten chocolate – cool it down to the perfect consistency, ready to begin the fun.

You can create your very own personalised, never-to-be-repeated limited edition Green and Black’s chocolate bar. Marshmallow, cardamom and biscuit flavoured anyone? Learn how to make chocolate truffles using raw ingredients and work in pairs to pipe truffles into whatever shape takes your fancy (don’t worry, we’ve seen it all before…)!

Then we’ll give a slab of praline, giant marshmallows and chunky biscuits to everyone and demo the art of cutting, dipping and decorating your chocolates. We’ve got bowls of melted chocolate and plenty of decorations for you to get stuck into.

Of course, we expect your one best chocolate to be saved for the bride – she gets to take the most impressive fruits of your labours home in a ribbon-tied bag – a souvenir of her day and a reminder of what a great group of mates she’s got. And of course we always like to end our workshops with a surprise !

Chocolate making classes cost £40 per head, minimum 10 people. Please make sure that you can confirm definite numbers of guests 2 weeks before your chocolate making experience.

Currently available in London and Brighton, with more availability coming soon.

Please call our office on 020 7274 4865 to check whether we can deliver a chocolate making hen night in your area.
